I’ve just returned from the Te Teko Trials where Challenge Racehorse Syndications’ first very runner, Fascination Street, did us proud with an encouraging second placing
The filly stepped out in the third heat, a juvenile trial over 600m. She jumped well and kept up a strong gallop to run second behind a smart Commands colt from the Jason Bridgeman stable.
Fascination Street is one of four fillies being raced by the Challenge No.1 Syndicate. It’s my first public syndication and I’ve been delighted with the interest. I have about 50 people involved and I’d say around 75% of them are first time investors.
The attraction for many has been the entry-level price tag ($4,000 including gst), which buys them a 1% interest in ALL FOUR FILLIES and includes all costs till 31 January 2013.
Fascination Street is trained by John Sargent & was ridden by Vinny Colgan today. She will spell for a few weeks before being brought back for another trial and we will assess her options at that time.
For the record; the other 3 fillies are Dancer’s Tale (Murray Baker & Andrew Forsman); Harper Rose (Richard Collett) and Raajaine (Shaune Ritchie).
