Cambridge Stud selling the lot

Zabeel, dam sire of Atlantic Jewel, Southern Speed and Planet Rock - he has 18 Cambridge Stud yearlings for Karaka 2012
Sir Patrick Hogan told me in the last few days that every one of his 2010 crop of yearlings will be sold at New Zealand Bloodstock’s Karaka Yearling Sales Series in less than three months time.
This is a departure from Cambridge Stud’s usual policy of keeping a number of fillies and selling the rest.
“Over the last four seasons we’ve retained a lot of fillies,” Sir Patrick Hogan told me.
“We’ve only kept two from the latest crop and that’s only because they’ve sustained injuries – every other filly is for sale at Karaka,” he added.
As usual, Cambridge Stud is right on the front foot and already has its’ yearling booklet for Karaka 2012 out and circulating amongst potential buyers. Cambridge Stud has 36 colts and 38 fillies for Karaka.
The yearlings began their sale preparation at the beginning of October and will have their first official parade when NZTM stages its’ annual Australian Trainers’ Tour next week.
