The capable Ekraar mare Amirar has returned a 42 day positive pregnancy scan to Haunui Farm’s popular newcomer stallion Showcasing.
Amirar (ex Rarima, by Grosvenor) won 5 races from 1300m to 2100m and was placed third in the Listed Taumarunui Gold Cup and fourth in the ARC Nicolas Feuillatte Stakes-Gr.3.
She was retired to stud earlier this year and leased by a client of mine who has invested in Showcasing & has sent ten mares to the son of Oasis Dream.
Showcasing won the Group Two Gimcrack Stakes at York and was placed at Group One level at Newmarket in the Middle Park Stakes.
