Strong interest in Reliable Man fillies

Nearco Stud’s two yearling fillies by Reliable Man being offered at the upcoming NZB May Sale on an UNRESERVED basis are creating plenty of interest.

Nearco Stud Ltd is offering 19 lots at the sale under the banner of Casey and Michelle Dando’s Bradbury Park; it’s the first reduction Nearco has had which is why the decision was made to put the horses up on an unreserved basis.

Every commercial breeder must look to have a reduction/deplenishing sale from time to time and this offering represents the first such sale for Nearco who has only been in the breeding business for around six years.

I shouldn’t be surprised that the two Reliable Man fillies are proving popular this far out from the sale.  The Westbury Stud shuttler was very well received at Karaka and this pair of fillies are both from excellent race mares.

Lot 307 (CLICK HERE TO SEE PEDIGREE) is from Keffiya (Cape Cross), a 4 time winner and Stakes Placed in both Australia and New Zealand.

Lot 302 (CLICK HERE TO SEE PEDIGREE) is  from Bankside Belle (Volksraad).  The filly is a half-sister to What Choux Want (Jimmy Choux), a winner at two this season and placed in both the Matamata Breeders’ Stakes-Gr.2 and Welcome Stakes-LR.

The Reliable Man yearling filly from Keffiya - Lot 307 for Karaka next month.
