The talented race mare With Ice (Snowland ex Sandy’s Pleasure, by Dash o’ Pleasure) was purchased by Adrian Clark Bloodstock on behalf of a client at the Sydney Easter Broodmare Sale this year and is now in New Zealand awaiting a mating with Shocking.
With Ice won ten races and seven of those were in Sydney city company. In all she raced 49 times, was placed on 12 occasions and collected A$338,750 in prize money.
By the Galaxy Handicap winner Snowland (Snippets), With Ice is one of six winners from Sandy’s Pleasure, herself a VRC Oaks-Gr.1 winner. A recent stakes performer in this family is On the Level (by Align), a now four-year-old trained by Murray Baker in Cambridge. At three last season he was placed second in the Avondale Guineas-Gr.2 and third in the New Zealand Derby-Gr.1.
