Some - yes there are more - of the Challenge No.2 Syndicate soaking up the Ryder Stakes victory with Secret Spirit last Saturday at Otaki
When I decided to make the giant step into professional racehorse syndication I knew it had massive potential as an add-0n to my Bloodstock Consultancy business.
I’ll admit though that the passion from syndicate members has taken my greatly by surprise; I knew they would enjoy it, but the intensity of that excitement has been a joy to see.
And despite small horse numbers and only three years in the business, Challenge Racehorse Syndications has had more than it’s share of those special moments – no less than five Stakes Race victories this season alone – with Secret Spirit (2), Avisto (2) and Fascination Street.
The Levin Racing Club made our big team on Saturday very welcome; I must thank them for that. They deserve a pat on the back too for presenting a track which despite a Rating read of a Heavy10, still provided a surface where horses could stay against the fence throughout the day’s proceedings. It certainly assisted Secret Spirit’s opportunity from the ace draw.
Right now Challenge has 9 horses spread amongst five syndicates. We have a ton of firepower going into the new season and I suspect photos like the one above can be repeated in the months to come!
