Keffiya pictured at the Sydney Broodmare Sale this year
The magnificent looking race mare Keffiya is back in New Zealand and will be mated with Pentire in the coming season.
A Cape Cross half-sister to the multiple Group One winner Maroofity and a close relative of Hong Kong star Beauty Flash, Keffiya retired to stud last year and is currently in foal to Tale of the Cat.
Adrian Clark Bloodstock purchased the mare for a client at this year’s Sydney Easter Broodmare Sale.
Keffiya won 4 races – three of them at Ellerslie – and has black type placings in both New Zealand and Australia. At three years she was third in the ARC Royal Stakes-Gr.2 (2000m) and second in the Hawkesbury Rowley Mile-LR (1600m).
